This is so easy, I typically use packets of onion soup mix because I had no idea how easy it was to make it… probably a lot healthier too! I am going to try this, I think I have all the ingredients!!

As much as I love being in the kitchen, I’ve never thought about making my own onion dip (usually relying on Knorr) but I’m going to keep this recipe handy in case I want to make a quick onion dip, etc. Thanks Heather!

This homemade onion soup mix recipe sounds way better then the salty stuff that I buy at the store. It never occured to me to make my own. Great recipe that I want to make and use in my meatloaf.

Oh my….it was bout a week ago I went to make a roast and wanted the Lipton dry onion soup mix…didn’t have any. How I wish I would have had this recipe then because I have all this stuff. I did put some bouillon and cut up some onions but I’ll be printing this for the future. Thank You so much!

Wow, I feel like I just hit pay dirt, too! I adore onion dip and I like to make things from scratch – this is super! I never would have thought to use the bouillon – and I just happen to have all these ingredients! This is wonderful, because now I will most likely be making this all the time, instead of once in a while!

This is awesome! I use onion soup mix in a lot of my recipes. It will be nice to not have to run to the store to buy this anymore. I like that it is made of all the stuff that is already in my spice cabinette. Thank you for sharing this whats going to be a much used recipe. I put this in my roasts and in mashed potatoes and lots of other stuff.

Thanks for this! I’ve also been looking for a good onion soup mix. I’m allergic to soy and it’s in the packets at the store.

I love using onion soup mix on vegetables, and this is perfect for when I don’t have any.
